Engineering Portfolio
This project was completed as part of the graduate-level course, "Integrated Computer-Aided Design". Through this project I learned the important elements and methods for creating a successful carbon fiber wet layup. Molds were provided of a step function or a Bessel function however, I chose to perform a layup of an airfoil I cut out of foam. This posed an extra challenge due to the fact that the carbon fiber fully encompassed the airfoil rather than a single face.
